Say goodbye to HCFC solvents

Ecolink 2005 and Select Free (141B) are phasing out

NEWS: Effective January 1, 2003, a specific class of industrial solvents, HCFC’s or Hydrochlorofluorocarbons, has been banned from production in the United States.  If you participated in the phase-out of 1, 1, 1 trichloroethane and CFC’s in the 1990’s, you understand the need to find effective solvent replacements. For many Ecolink customers, HCFC’s used in the formulation of Ecolink 2005 are critical to their cleaning process.

Don't worry, Ecolink will support your transition

If you currently use Ecolink 2005, be sure to order sufficient supply for your transition needs. While the regulation forbids production or import of HCFC’s after January 1, 2003, it does allow users to consume the balance of the available material produced prior to the phase-out. We believe that HCFC raw material will continue to be available to Ecolink well into 2007. As a result, we can help you transition to Ecolink replacement products with no disruption to your daily workflow. Call 800-886-8240 for details.
