Description

Terpene-based cleaning agents have long been preferred for industrial cleaning and degreasing applications because of their high solvency for non-polar soils. However, because of their relative instability, traditional terpenes can leave small but detectable surface residues during the cleaning (and drying) process which can make precision cleaning with terpenes difficult, if not impossible.

ULTRA PREP is new and different. As a result of over 2 years of research and development, we have broken the barrier to low surface residue. For the first time ever, all the advantages of traditional terpene solvents are combined with the stability, purity, and consistency of a true precision-cleaning agent. ULTRA PREP makes safe precision wipe cleaning a reality.

Applications

The only terpene of its kind, ULTRA PREP offers critical residue-free yet high solvency cleaning. May be used to clean electric motors, windings, breakers, bushings and bearings. ULTRA PREP is highly effective in dissolving aliphatic and cyclic lubricating oils, greases, waxes, tape residues, silicone fluids, and similar soils likely to be found in the manufacturing industries.

Safety and Handling Precautions

Use adequate ventilation. Rubber aprons are recommended if splashing could occur. Wash hands after use. Safety glasses are recommended. If vapor mist is generated, use a NIOSH certified organic vapor respirator with a dust and mist filter. Treat as combustible liquid. All rags must be placed in a metal sealable container after use to avoid possible spontaneous combustion. Keep container closed. Avoid excessive contact with vapors or liquid. Avoid heat, sparks and open flames. Store away from strong acids and bases. Avoid warm storage.
